Sometimes we need a helping hand and often we can learn from giving one. Partner yoga is a fun way to balance the inner world of our personal practice with the outer world of our relationships with others. With hands on support we will deepen into poses, challenge balance by extending our awareness beyond ourselves, and experience asanas we just couldn't do alone. Partner yoga is a perfect compliment to your already existing practice, a place to explore the art of giving as well as receiving and honoring the importance of both.
Registration and pre-payment required. Class cards may not be used. Contact the studio to register at 503-545-8312 or below

Tightness in hips? Lower back discomfort? Feeling stuck and unproductive? Looking to liberate more creative energy?
Join Rose for this 90 minute monthly workshop for deep hip opening. Many yoga classes only work the outer muscles of the hips. While outer hip work is important, an overemphasis on this one area often leads to overlooking other necessary aspects of hip opening. The hip joint itself actually moves in a multitude of directions, and true opening occurs when we include all aspects of the pelvis. Learn techniques to keep the hip joint mobile and fluid by working deeply from the structure of the pelvis to the surrounding musculature and connective tissue- no part of the pelvis left behind! Leave with the knowledge to build a 10 minute home practice, which if done daily can assist in the dramatic alleviation of hip and lower back discomfort as well keeping those persnickety hamstrings free and open.
Registration & pre-payment are required. Contact studio or sign up below:

We all know that uncomfortable, sinking feeling that often takes hold this time of year: lethargy, pessimism, lack of motivation, and an overall sense of blah.
The science of Ayurveda (India’s traditional system of health & healing) can shed light on factors that contribute to depressive mood states and provide us with tools (namely yoga & meditation) to help heal our emotions & promote positive well-being.
In this workshop, we will learn about the 3 Ayurvedic body types, or doshas, and the challenging emotions associated with each as well as how seasonal, environmental and lifestyle factors influence our moods. We will then explore how to utilize our yoga & meditation practice to best mediate these factors to navigate & improve our moods.
This workshop will include both a moderate hatha flow practice and a relaxing restorative session along with pranayama exercises, meditation & guided visualization.
Registration and payment are required to reserve your spot. Register at the studio (prior or after any scheduled class), call 503-545-8312, or visit link below:
